The First Place staff would like to invite you to our sixth annual First Place Leadership Summit. The first Leadership Summit in 2003 marked the beginning of what has now become the yearly trek to Houston, Texas for many leaders from across the continent! An incredible two days of celebrating, networking, brainstorming, idea sharing, praying, training and worship are planned for those leaders who want to cast their leadership net into the deep and collect a catch of faithful followers!

First Place Wellness Week • October 9 - 16, 2008 • Round Top, Texas
Round Top Retreat is a beautiful Victorian-style retreat center located “Deep in the Heart of Texas.” It's operated by the Goad family, who began this ministry on a full-time basis in 1984, to provide a home environment with all the charm of a country setting, where people can share God’s Word.

A First Place Rally is a one-night event with the atmosphere of a pep rally. A church will invite all those in the community who want to learn moreabout First Place, as well as alumni members who plan on continuing in the program.

The goal is to create excitement and interest in an upcoming session and to motivate alumni First Place members. The Rally includes testimonies and inspirational music provided by the host church. First Place provides a guest speaker who shares information about First Place, along with an inspirational message to those attending.

First Place Workshops are one-day events. Area churches are invited to a host church to learn more about First Place and how to start and lead a First Place program. Workshops give people the tools they need to plan, prepare and lead a First Place ministry in their own church. Led by trained Workshop Leaders, the Workshops are held at various times and locations throughout the United States.
